Itinerary PDIPR

Description

The Departmental Plan of Walking and Hiking Routes (PDIPR) aims to promote the discovery of natural sites and rural landscapes by developing the practice of hiking. The Department is competent to establish the PDIPR pursuant to Article L361-1 of the Environment Code. In Ain, the PDIPR is an old policy since it dates back to 1984. In 2018, the Department adopted a new hiking strategy in Ain, relying on intercommunalities to offer the most emblematic loops and routes in their territories. The PDIPR is therefore currently in a recast phase that will last until the end of 2021. This data corresponds to the new version with a route logic. On the latter remains a work of topology and recovery of geometries from GPX traces. Latest integrations: \- circuits of the C.C. Bresse Saône (November 2021). \- circuits of the C.A. Haut-Bugey — Plateau d’Hauteville sector (13 December 2021). \- circuits of the C.A. du Bassin de Bourg-en-Bresse — CA3B (13 December 2021). \- circuits of the C.C. de la Dombes added 12 circuits and modification of the Vernange circuits (February 2022). Attention Following rockfalls, which occurred on 5-6/03/2022 over RD74 in the lake area, the Nantua Town Hall made a stop to close the trails in the area: \- Nantua Lake Tower (RD74 closed) \- The Mountains of Ain (access prohibited between the crossroads of the Virgin from Nantua and the Grange of the Bear) Following rockfalls, on the path “Les Roches d’Orvaz” (in Belleydoux, HBA), the return trip to the Orvaz rock gazebo is closed (municipal decree 10/06/2021).
