Description
If the Act entrusts the authorities of the City of Prague with the performance of state administration (hereinafter referred to as the "delegated competence of the City of Prague"), the territory of the City of Prague is an administrative district (see Section 2(2) of the above-mentioned Act). The City of Prague shall exercise delegated powers which are entrusted by a special law to the regions designated by the municipal authorities and municipalities, unless the law or the Statute stipulates otherwise. Since 1 July 2001, 22 administrative districts have been established in Prague. The territory of the administrative district of the capital city of Prague consists of one continuous territory.
