Description
Cadastral territory means a technical unit consisting of a geographically closed and jointly registered set of real estates in the cadastre (according to the Czech National Council Act No. 344/1992 Coll., on the cadastre of real estate of the Czech Republic (Cadastral Act), Section 27(f), as amended by Act No. 89/1996 Coll.). Cadastral territories cover the entire territory of the state. A cadastral area is essentially a composite unit of municipalities, i.e. one or more cadastral areas mostly form the territorial district of a municipality. In some cases, a part of the municipality may consist of a development that lies on the cadastral territory of a neighbouring municipality (delimited territory), without any corresponding adjustment of the boundaries of the cadastral territory. Cadastral territory forms a territorial unit, which is defined by a boundary within the cadastre of real estate. The cadastral area is also a registration unit for parcel numbering. The boundaries of cadastral areas are depicted in state map works of large and medium scale. The cadastral area is given by the list of plots. Cadastral areas are composed into the respective municipality and completely cover it. The cadastral territory lies on one or more polygons (in discontinuous territories).
