Nominal maximum line speed
Description
Nominal maximum speed on the lines of the National Railway Network.
The maximum rated speed allowed for trains corresponds to the fastest speed allowed for the fastest trains.
This breakdown is indicated by a numerical value having for unit the kilometre/hour, a value in the range from 5 to 350.
This speed does not take into account temporary speed limits.
Geographic coordinates are a conversion of rail coordinates to Lambert 93 and WGS84 (EPSG:3857).
In some cases, it is not possible to convert the railway location into geographical coordinates: these details have not been collected for lines that are no longer operated
