* Staff available: the firm's workforce in full-time equivalent.
* Lost day per staff member: the result of the ratio between the number of strike days counted over a period and the number of staff available over the same period.
Data on social conflicts between the creation of SNCF in 1937 and 1947 have not been archived in their entirety.
