Description
Average gross monthly remuneration of SNCF employees since 2010.
The average gross monthly remuneration (in euros) is calculated on the basis of the gross taxable remuneration for each month (including the end-of-year bonus). It is brought back over twelve months. For each month, only the remuneration of full-time staff present throughout the month shall be taken into account.
* “Staff members”: also referred to as “permanent staff” within SNCF, this concept refers to a statutory position, whatever the staff member’s college, in accordance with the provisions of internal directive RH 001 (“Status of collective relations between SNCF and its staff”).
* "Contract staff": means a member of staff who is not covered by the Staff Regulations but who is bound to SNCF by an employment contract under ordinary law.
These data come from the Social Report published each year by SNCF's Cohesion & Human Resources Department. The social report presents the data relating to all the company’s staff with the exception of doctors who work in the field of occupational and care medicine for staff in active employment, trainees, caretakers and contract staff under contract assisted.
**From 2019, the type of staff taken into account in the Social Balance Sheet has been modified: the number of staff presented is the total number of staff (and no longer the "real" number of staff).**
