List of branched terminal installations
Description
List of terminal installations connected to the National Railway Network.
This dataset lists disconnected terminal facilities and locates their entry point.
A Branched Terminal Facility is a railway line serving a company, factory, depot, industrial or port area from the national rail network to allow the transport of goods without breaking loads.
The infrastructure elements are located by projection on the corresponding line. The GPS coordinates proposed are those of the projection of the object on the line. As a result, there may be a discrepancy with the geolocation of the object.
When an object is projected onto a line that is no longer exploited, translation of the location is not possible.
These objects are located by their entry point on the network. They can therefore be located either directly on a line or on another object (itself located on a line).
When an element is close to several lines, it is projected onto the different lines.
The coordinates are expressed in Lambert 93 and WGS84 (EPSG:3857).
