Description
This dataset represents the annual attendance of all 3000 passenger stations from 2015 to 2022.
This information comes from ticketing data for national and regional traffic outside Ile-de-France and extrapolation for Ile-de-France regional traffic from counts carried out every 3 to 4 years and published elsewhere in Open Data.
It should be noted that, for stations that have not benefited from a count of Ile-de-France regional traffic since 2020 due to the health crisis, attendance is calculated in relation to changes in station validations.
An estimate of the proportion of non-travellers is made from station surveys. In the absence of a survey, a default rate is set (20% for stations a and b outside Ile-de-France and 0% for stations b Ile-de-France and c).
The calculation methodology is precise year after year with a resumption of the history that can explain variations in the data published from one year to the next. For any question, you can send it to us through the contact form of the Open Data portal.
These data are updated annually in summer A+1.
