Numbers available as an annual average of the SNCF Public Rail Group (excluding subsidiaries) since 1851.
_Details:_
The number of "_agents available_" corresponds to the number of agents in full-time equivalent made available to the entity for the month in question. The calculation takes into account both the percentage of use included in the employment contract and the number of days worked during the month.
\- Before 1937, the proposed workforce corresponds to the aggregate workforce of different railway companies.
From 1939 to 1945: not including the permanent staff mobilised.
From 1940 to 1944: not including the staff of the Alsace and Lorraine lines.
\- 1970: including courier and road transport services.
\- 1990: inclusion of part-time contract staff, counted in full-time equivalents (i.e. 4 848 full-time equivalent staff in 1990.
\- 1998: the management staff (accounting follow-up) replaces the staff available.
\- from 1998 to 2005: including youth employment
\- February 2000: Subsidization of SERNAM
\- 2007: the available staff replaces the management staff.
\- 2015: excluding RFF from 1 January to 30 June 2015
