Track armament classification
Description
List of tracks of the National Railway Network typed by Demaux groups.
The acceptance of motor equipment on a line of the national railway network depends in particular on the equipment, the type of rail and, where appropriate, the radius of curvature of the line in question.
Lines are classified from 1 to 5 (Demaux groups):
* Lines classified from 1 to 3 are subject to traffic restrictions (tonnage and speed limit), in particular for low radius lines;
* Lines classified 4 to 5 are accessible without restriction to motor equipment complying with the aforementioned Order of 19 March 2012, provided that the equipment has characteristics compatible with the sections on which traffic is planned.
Geographic coordinates are a conversion of rail coordinates to Lambert 93 and WGS84 (EPSG:3857).
