Key Ares, 2 digit level

The municipality of Umeå is divided into key code areas. The finest division of key code areas is at a 6-digit level, which can then be aggregated to a 5-digit, 4-digit, 3-digit, or 2-digit level. The most common levels used are the 6-digit or 2-digit levels. This dataset is aggregated at a 2-digit level.The division is primarily made to facilitate the planning of various municipal services based on the number of residents in different parts of the municipality.Please note that the map boundaries are only indicative.The dataset is usually updated once a year or as needed.
