The sites proposed as part of the call for projects “Friendly City” in Roubaix
Description
The City of Roubaix regularly creates new sites in individual or collective vegetable cultivation to meet the needs of leisure, healthy eating, conviviality and purchasing power of the inhabitants. Today, more than 8 hectares, about thirty sites and 350 plots of family gardens exist on the city.
By the [deliberation of 05 October 2017](https://fr.calameo.com/read/000053137be43b510f531?page=1339), the City wished to strengthen its approach by adapting its Feed City Strategy. Among the measures, the City committed to launch a call for projects on urban agriculture.
Thus, the City launches its first call for projects. The objective is to develop and support innovative projects or citizens, which will occupy low-skilled spaces today and bring positive dynamics to the neighbourhoods.
