Description

To ensure the preparation and conduct of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024 in good conditions, for matters of public safety, the quality of public spaces, traffic and travel, the City of Paris will be required to limit road and network construction sites in Paris between 15 March and 30 October 2024.
**Phase 1:
1 September 2023 to 15 March 2024**
**Monitoring of the works (preservation of sensitive and necessary networks for the running of the JOPs)**
Network operators will be asked to submit systematic “technical instructions” (including for network renewal).
Network operators will be able to issue restrictive or protective notices of their works under these instructions.

**Phase 2:
15 March 2024 to 15 June 2024**
**Sanctuarisation of the surroundings of the sites (JOPs, stations, sensitive sites, Olympic lanes)**
**No authorisation to start new works** in the areas in yellow and **replenishment of existing right-of-way effective by 15 June 2024.** All construction sites must be either completed with a final rehabilitation of the road or folded and put into safety by 15 June, taking into account the following details:
* Prohibited pedestrian deviations (if any trenches will have been closed and serviced to restore the paths);
* Prohibited bike deviations;
* No construction barriers must remain;
* No storage of materials or waste should remain;
* No base-life should remain.

**Phase 3:
15 June 2024 to 15 September 2024**
** Welcome visitors to the Games**
No authorisation to start new works in all Paris and **reply of the existing right-of-way effective by 15 July 2024.** All construction sites must be either completed with a final rehabilitation of the road or folded and put into safety by 15 July, taking into account the following details:
* Prohibited pedestrian deviations (if any trenches will have been closed and serviced to restore the paths);
* Prohibited bike deviations;
* No construction barriers must remain;
* No storage of materials or waste should remain;
* The life bases must be removed, however, they can be maintained exceptionally on minimum right-of-way and in this case they must be secured and maintained (clean) daily.
**Phase 2 requirements on coloured areas are maintained during this phase.**

**Phase 4:
16 September 2024 to 30 October 2024**
**Objective:
Facilitate disassembly and rehabilitation of Olympic venues**
* No authorisation to start new works
* Maintaining the provisions of previous phases (refolded right-of-way)
* Exceptions:
site remediation work
**The requirements of Phase 2 are maintained during this phase on the perimeters of the disassembly Olympic sites.**
