Description
**Parks included in the priority development area of the heat network**
From 1 September 2022, buildings within the priority development perimeter of the heating network defined by the City of Paris must be connected to it if they are new buildings or existing buildings that replace a collective heating system.
The priority development area is defined as all cadastral parcels of which more than 50 % of the area is located less than 60 m from the existing heat network. These criteria ensure that the financial conditions for connecting to the heating network as a result of the classification will remain under control.
The perimeter also includes development operations for which energy strategies have been studied.
The priority development scope presented in this data has been defined in relation to the existing heat network at the time of the July 2022 deliberation. An evaluation of the classification system will be carried out by the City of Paris every 3 years (and at least during the 1st year of the next concession).
