Let’s breathe better in the 20th – Mini-station data
Description
** Mini-station data set compared to Airparif reference stations.**
These data show the hourly rate of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in µg/m³ measured by mini-stations distributed in the 20th arrondissement, compared to those of 2 Airparif reference stations from 1 January to 31 December 2019.

Of the 13 Airparif reference stations located in Paris, 2 stations were used to compare the measurements of the mini-stations:
* BP Est (Boulevard Peripheral East), located near road traffic.
* PA18, (Paris 18th) bottom station (far from direct sources of pollution).
They are compared to 8 mini-stations spread over the 20th arrondissement.

2 mini-stations are located at the urban bottom (far from direct sources of pollution):
* Belleville Park
* Père Lachaise Cemetery
The others are proximity stations to road traffic.
For guidance, the regulatory thresholds for NO2 are 40 µg/m³ for chronic exposure and 200 µg/m³ for more unusual exposure.
Please note: These data are part of an experiment. The mini-stations in place have been adjusted to obtain the most reliable data possible. Corrections made from Airparif reference stations approved for regulatory monitoring for nitrogen dioxide (NO2).
Some too unreliable data are not published here, in particular:
* The raw NO2 data from the Loliée station had to be invalidated: they had too many inconsistencies and the site profile halfway between the bottom and proximity to road traffic makes corrections too difficult. The additional data from the mini-station tubes still allowed an analysis of the levels encountered at a greater stage (quarter and year) in the analysis bulletins.
* Unlike NO2, measurements of fine particles (PM 2.5) via ministations were found to be too unreliable and were removed from the analyses.
