Share of low-emission vehicles of the Paris administration
Description
Share of low-emission vehicles made available to the management of the City of Paris, and managed by the DILT (the business vehicles of the Cleanliness of Paris and Green Spaces are not included).
This share consists of vehicles with decarbonised motorisation (electric and hydrogen), as well as those powered by bio-NGV, LPG and hybrids. On 1 January 2024, the city’s total fleet of all types of motor vehicles amounted to 2643 motor vehicles.
This indicator makes it possible to quantify the transformation of the vehicle fleet as part of the Paris municipality’s guidelines to phase out thermal powertrains by 2030.
In the absence of alternative technological offers to thermals for certain ranges of the fleet, renewals will focus on low greenhouse gas emission proposals such as bio-NGV or biofuels as a priority and on a transitional basis.
