Total number of species observed between 2010 and 2020 (flora, fungi/lichens, fauna)
Description
This indicator reports observations over a 10-year period, including 2010 and 2020. Nearly 2800 wild species have thus been observed:
* Flora: 831 species including 771 flowering plants, 20 ferns and horsetails, 3 conifers and 37 mosses and livers.
* Mushrooms/lichens: 350 species including 319 mushrooms and 31 lichens.
* Fauna: 1618 including 1132 insects.
The Atlas of Nature published in 2020 lists the number of species observed in Paris between 2010 and 2020.
For flora, observation takes place mainly between March and September.
For wildlife, periods of observation vary greatly depending on the species and their rhythm of life.
