### **restrictions on building works**
To ensure the preparation and conduct of the Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024 in good conditions, the City of Paris may be required, pursuant to the [Roading Regulation](https://www.paris.fr/pages/effectuer-des-travaux-sur-la-voie-publique-3506#le-reglement-de-voirie), to limit for reasons of general interest the right-of-way on the public space of building sites between **15 June and 15 September 2024** on the perimeters shown on the map.
Within these perimeters, for the right-of-way on the public space necessary for building sites, authorised and started before 15 June 2024, particular attention is required to ensure that they are properly maintained and limited to the strict necessary. On the same perimeters between 15 June and 15 September 2024, no authorisation to install a site on the road will be issued except for works of an emergency nature or made necessary to ensure the safety of persons and property.Apart from these perimeters, authorisations to occupy the right-of-way necessary for building sites will be issued normally in accordance with the regulations applicable during the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.It is nevertheless possible that, during this period, the Paris Police Prefecture imposes special measures, such as retreats of construction sites, for reasons of public safety.
