Description

**Official track name – denominated** This corresponds to the data of the denominations rendered obsolete, either by a change of name or by the physical deletion of the track. The information contained in the dataset makes it possible to find the filiation of the names or to find the deleted paths in the [Historical] field. A large number of outdated denominations do not include data related to computerisation (way code, DGFIP code, etc.), since the names are already obsolete to the implementation of track wire systems. Furthermore, the data are derived from old nomenclatures in paper format which do not mention a certain amount of information such as the date of expiry, or references to the regulatory texts applying on the track. The dataset of the denominations of the right-of-way of the current tracks also includes in its field [Historical] indications on historical denominations. The data scheme is explained and detailed at the bottom of this leaflet in the section “Data model” The research is done without accent. Numeric and non-literary numerals must be searched for denominations with numbers and letters.
