# Grants awarded by the department of Isère Since 1 August 2017, local authorities have been obliged to communicate on the subsidies they award. This obligation falls to them with the publication on 7 May 2017 of [Decree No 2017-779 of 5 May](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/jorf/id/JORFTEXT000034600552), ‘on access in electronic form to grant agreement data’ and [Decree of 17 November 2017] (“on the conditions for making the essential data of the grant agreements available”. This communication concerns grant agreements concluded pursuant to [Article 10 of the Law of 12 April 2000](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/loda/article_lc/LEGIARTI000006529194/2000-04-13/), i.e. in principle only those over EUR 23000 and concluded with a legal person governed by private law (the most common being private companies, civil societies, economic interest groups, associations). This threshold is set by [Article 1 of Decree No 2001-495 of 6 June 2001](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/loda/id/LEGITEXT000005631044/) adopted for the application of Article 10 of Law No 2000-321 of 12 April 2000 on the financial transparency of aid granted by public persons. This game observes all the grants awarded over a rolling year. It is updated quarterly in order to comply with [Article 2 of Decree No 2017-779 of 5 May](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/jorf/id/JORFTEXT000034600552) which provides for the elements to be made available no later than three months from the date of signature of the agreement. The dataset structure incorporates the specifications of the data model for grants awarded by a community under the Common Local Data Pillar (SCDL) by opendatafrance [available on the SCDL website](https://scdl.opendatafrance.net/docs/schemas/subventions.html).
