Legal populations Communes and Municipal Arrondissements – Millésimé – France
Description
The population data published by INSEE shall enter into force on 1 January; they are based on the administrative divisions on 1 January of the previous year (N-1) and the census for year N-3. This dataset contains data on the legal populations of municipalities and municipal districts for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023.
These populations are available for the various administrative districts on 1 January of the year preceding the entry into force, within their territorial limits on that date:

The results of the renovated censuses compare correctly with each other only over periods of at least 5 years apart. For a shorter period, it is strongly advised not to compare two censuses.
