Data from the National Directory of Local Elected Officials: Municipal, Community (EPCI), Departmental, Regional
Description
This dataset presents local elected representatives at the municipal level, EPCI, departments and regions (mayors, municipal councillors, community councillors at the EPCI level, departmental and regional councillors).
These data are derived from the Repertoire National des Elus (RNE), provided and maintained by the prefectures and by the departments of the Ministry of the Interior, in particular on the basis of the information provided by the elected representatives during the registration phase of applications.
The files uploaded are updated quarterly.
The data relating to the profession are declarative.
Requests for rectification must be sent directly by e-mail to the territorially competent prefecture (pref-rne-contact@nom[-department.gouv.fr]). No request for rectification made on the [www.data.gouv.fr](s) platform will be taken into account. Corrections made in the RNE will not be immediately reported to the [www.data.gouv.fr](s) platform, but will be taken into account for the next publication.

* adding codes and labels for regions and EPCIs when applicable
* adding codes and labels of municipalities associated with the different EPCIs where possible
* deletion of incorrect dates (< 1900)
