Personal Allowance to Autonomy (APA) in Isère by municipality since 2016
Description
Number of APA beneficiaries in establishment since 2016 by municipality. The Personalised Autonomy Allowance is an allowance granted to persons aged at least 60 years of age who are in a situation of loss of autonomy, requiring assistance in carrying out the acts of everyday life.
All “empty” data are data between 1 and 4, which are not disseminated (n.e.).

The data are on a communal zoning as of January 1, 2020.
The APA is aimed at people aged 60 and over.
The applicant must attest to a stable and regular residence in France.
Travellers and homeless persons can attest to their “stable and regular residence” by being domiciled with an approved public social or medico-social organisation (CCAS,...).
Persons who are not nationals of a Member State of the European Union can therefore claim the APA, provided they certify a valid residence permit and fulfil the conditions of age and loss of autonomy.
The assessment of the loss of autonomy is established using the national grid AGGIR (Autonomy Gérontologie Groupe Iso-Ressources).
This grid makes it possible to establish a GIR between 1 and 6.
Only applicants classified in one of the GIR groups 1 to 4 can benefit from the APA.
To claim the benefit of the APA in an institution, the elderly must be a resident of a social or medico-social establishment with more than 25 places, permanently welcoming elderly people.
