Youth structures and animation

Description

Youth as well as global outreach are among the main concerns of the city of Suresnes. Various resources and structures allow Suresnois to access a complete offer: * **the Youth-Animation Service** of the City pilots and coordinates the Centre Social Multi-Sites Suresnes Animation, the Communal Council of Youth and Suresnes Information Youth. Its objective is to offer an offer covering all themes (leisure, guidance, occupational integration, health, social linkage, fight against the digital divide, learning the French language, etc.) and distributed equally across the territory. He is the privileged interlocutor of colleges and high schools. * **Suresnes Animation (IFAC)** manages the **Social Centre of Suresnes**, the most important of the Hauts-de-Seine with no less than 9 structures distributed equally throughout the national territory, within the framework of a public contract: 3 neighbourhood houses (Gambetta, Chênes, Sorbiers), Toy library, adult relay for learning French (Relais de Sarah and Femmes Relais), Cyberesp@ce, youth space and Zik'Studio. The objective is to offer a global, family and multigenerational animation offer to all the inhabitants of Suresnes. * **the Youth Space** is a multi-stakeholder venue, bringing together the Youth-Animation Service, Suresnes Youth Information, Suresnes Animation and the Local Mission. Located in the city center at 6, allée des Maraîchers it offers young people aged 15 to 25 an identified place meeting all their needs: free reception, leisure, information, guidance, support, employment, project management, stays, etc. * **the Communal Youth Council** promotes the engagement of young people in Suresnois from CM2 to higher education and allows them to act on the territory of the municipality by discovering the institutions, learning about the project methodology and promoting active solidarity. The young elected are the representatives of pupils in schools, colleges and high schools but are also, in general, the relay between the young people of the city and the municipality. * **Suresnes Information Jeunesse (SIJ)** is an association with which the City has concluded an agreement of objectives. Benefiting from the “Youth Information” accreditation, the SIJ works to welcome, inform and guide young people in terms of training and vocational integration. Many events and actions “outside the walls” are also put in place throughout the year. * **the Local Mission** welcomes, advises, guides and accompanies young people aged 16 to 25, who have graduated from the school system and are in the process of professional integration. The following table provides data on the structures described above, such as the coordinates, the evolution of the number of members if possible (*) but also the type of activities carried out. (* The Municipal Service Jeunesse-Animation and the Local Mission have no members as such. Suresnes Information Youth receives young people anonymously. The number of members is therefore not a data available).
