This data provides information on alignment plans approved by administrative decision for the benefit of the Department. More specifically, these are the boundaries between public roads and riparian properties set out in the plans for public utility easements annexed to the planning documents PLU or POS. (Roadway Code, Article L 112-2).

The Plan Local d'Urbanisme is the main urban planning document for town planning at municipal level.
POS
The Land Occupancy Plan (POS) is an urban planning document that was replaced by the Local Planning Plans (PLU) under the law on urban solidarity and renewal of 13 December 2000. However, the old SOPs remain and retain their full legal validity as long as they have not been transformed into PLUs.
