Number of social housing units financed per municipality under the delegation of aid to stone until 2012 * * * This dataset presents the number of social housing financed since 2007 as part of the delegation of aid to stone, it allows to know the programs carried out or in progress. These are new construction or acquisition-improvement operations. **The scheme was amended after 2012 following the end of the delegation of aid to stone. This dataset is therefore no longer fed and has been replaced by the dataset of subsidized social housing in municipalities with less than 25% of social housing (see Related data).** **Lexico** New construction Mode of production of social rental housing including the realization in direct project management by a social landlord as well as the acquisition of new programs in the context of sale in the state of future completion (VEFA) by a social landlord from a private developer. Acquisition-improvement Mode of production of social rental housing by the acquisition of existing assets belonging to the free sector (unconventional), generally occupied, then by the carrying out of improvement works. **Special comments** Social housing includes, on the one hand, so-called "family" housing, but also housing in student residences in residential institutions for dependent elderly people (EHPAD), structures for disabled people (living homes, nursing homes, etc.) and, finally, social residences for disadvantaged groups and young workers. All these dwellings are subject to an APL agreement. The reference of the funding year shall be the date of signature of the financing decisions taken in the framework of the delegation of competence for the management of aid for stone.
