List of projects funded under the calls for projects Youth Solidarity Initiatives * * * This dataset presents the list of winners of the call for projects Initiatives Jeunes Solidaires organized by the Department as part of its international cooperation policy. The main information on the selected projects specifies in particular the title, the description, the duration, the location of each project as well as the name of the awarded associations and the amount of the voted grant. Initiatives Jeunes Solidaires is a scheme created in 2009 that encourages 18-30 year olds to invest in projects aimed at reducing malnutrition and extreme poverty. **Special comments** To be eligible, projects must: * be worn by young people aged between 18 and 30; * since 2018, have at least 50% of participants living, studying or working in Hauts-de-Seine; * have a duration of 1 to 12 months devoted to the project at the place of realization; * contribute to the fight against malnutrition and extreme poverty; * Subject to the safety of participants, priority must be given to: * in the countries covered by the departmental international cooperation policy: Armenia, Benin, Cambodia and Haiti (the Department has suspended its activities in Mali since 2011 in view of the problems of insecurity); * in countries with a low and medium Human Development Index (HDI) according to the ranking of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) (hdr.undp.org) * be carried by an association whose registered office is in France and by a local partner; * provide for actions to restore the project on the territory of Hauts-de-Seine. A pre-selection committee studies the eligible projects and hears the project promoters. The proposed projects are then put to the vote of the Parliamentary Assembly for funding. **Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Youth Solidarity Initiatives call for projects were suspended and no projects were funded.**
