Indicators of the report on the sustainable development situation of the Department of Hauts-de-Seine since 2010

In accordance with Article L. 3311-2 of the General Code of Local Authorities, the Department of Hauts-de-Seine presents its annual regulatory report on the situation with regard to sustainable development during the budgetary orientation debate. In year N, the report is drawn up on the basis of data from year N-1.
The purpose of this report is to assess the Department’s policy with regard to sustainable development issues. The aim is to highlight departmental action to promote development that reconciles economic development, social progress and the protection and development of the environment.
In accordance with Article D. 3311-8 of the CGCT and Article L. 110-1 of the Environment Code, this report takes into account the following five objectives of sustainable development:
1. the fight against climate change;
2. Preserving biodiversity, environments and resources and safeguarding the services they provide and the uses associated with them;
3. social cohesion and solidarity between territories and generations;
4. the development of all human beings;
5. The transition to a circular economy.
The approach is structured around three parts:
1. a review of the measures taken to manage its assets, the operation and internal activities of the local authority;
2. analysis of the territorial policies carried out in the Department;
3. The synthesis of professional practices for evaluation, governance and transversality.
All the data are collected from the various divisions, departments and departments of the Department thanks to Sustainable Development correspondents who contribute and relay to complete the preparation of this report.
