This dataset lists the projects carried out by the Department of Hauts-de-Seine, mainly on its rights-of-way. These projects can be work in progress or advanced studies that will later lead to construction sites.
This dataset makes it possible to identify road sections that are or will be impacted by works. The data shall indicate the provisional construction dates and also describe the nature of the work envisaged, with a link to a webpage relating to the project where appropriate.
**Background**
The purpose of the data is to enable the Department to identify all projects relating to departmental roads. Upstream of the construction phase, this allows better planning with readjustments to reduce investment costs (by simultaneously carrying out projects that concern the same section of departmental road) as well as to limit the inconvenience caused to users (by preventing too many construction sites from impacting the same sector at a given moment and making traffic conditions difficult).
Every month, staff of the Directorate for Mobility and the Directorate for Water of the Hauts-de-Seine Department, as well as staff of the Yvelines / Hauts-de-Seine Interdepartmental Public Establishment, provide information on their projects. This information is collected in a geographical database.
This dataset is only an extraction of the complete database, in order to represent only work in progress, as well as studies that will certainly lead to work (either large-scale projects, declared to be of public utility, or projects that are beyond the Pre-Project phase). Indeed, as the projects are evolving (project dates not fixed), and for some uncertain, the Department does not wish to communicate too much information that over time would prove to be erroneous.
