Geographical reference mesh size

Description

Geographical mesh size of the Hauts-de-Seine territory allowing the scaling of the so-called reference data. * * * * The Hauts-de-Seine Department offers open data all of its orthophotographies produced from 1978 to 2018. The original mesh of the orthophotographs produced, cut into slabs of the same size, found to be different from one vintage to another. It was decided during the last acquisition campaign (in 2018) to create a Geographical Reference Mapping (M.G.R.) in order to standardise within the Department a mesh data, especially for campaigns to acquire orthophotographies. This is in the interest of homogeneity between the vintages and to facilitate their dissemination and exploitation. In this context, all the Department’s orthophotography datasets have been published using this mesh. The M.G.R. is now the reference used for the Department’s data entirely covering its territory, namely orthophotographs, altimetry data, topographical plans, plan holdings,... and their future publications. **Lexic** Orthophotography An orthophotography is an assembly or mosaic from aerial or satellite images, geometrically rectified in relation to the terrain and harmonised radiometrically in order to generate a single image that can be presented in the form of slabs or mesh. MGR Geographical linkage of Reference. Grid of slabs of 1 km by 1 km allowing the territory of Hauts-de-Seine to be regularly gridded. **Specific comments** This mesh is now the reference used for mesh data produced by the Hauts-de-Seine Department. The download of a reference data (orthophotography, old cadastre, altimetry...) according to its vintage or type can be done by clicking on the corresponding link in the table or by clicking on the map on a slab.
