Remarkable Heritage Sites (SPR)

Description

This spatial dataset contains the rights of Suresnes’ Remarkable Heritage Sites (SPR).

Context

As created in the Heritage Code by [Law No. 2016-925 of 7 July 2016] on freedom of creation, architecture and heritage, the SPRs are “the towns, villages or neighbourhoods whose conservation, restoration, rehabilitation or enhancement is of a public interest from the historical, architectural, archaeological, artistic or landscape point of view”. “Rural spaces and landscapes that form a coherent whole with these towns, villages or neighbourhoods or which are likely to contribute to their conservation or enhancement” can also be classified in the same way.

The SPRs aim to protect and enhance the architectural, urban and landscape heritage of our territories.

The system makes it possible to clearly identify the heritage issues in the same territory. These issues are reflected in a land management plan that can take two forms:

Each of them is a legibility factor for project promoters and residents.

The remarkable heritage sites replace the old protective devices:

  • sectors saved,
  • architectural, Urban and Landscape Heritage Protection Areas (ZPPAUP),
  • architectural and Heritage Development Areas (AVAP)

The latter were automatically transformed by law into an SPR.
