Documentary collection of the departmental museum of the Domaine de Sceaux available for consultation * * * The Musée du Domaine départemental de Sceaux displays its collections in several prestigious buildings: the Château, the Orangerie, the Pavillon de l’Aurore, the Petit Château and the Stables. From history to art, architecture and landscape transformations, the collections evoke the Paris region and the history of the estate since the 17th century. This dataset presents all the works available for consultation in the museum’s documentation centre. With more than 7800 books, this collection presents the artists and fields of art present in the museum as well as the themes and motifs represented in the works.
