Atlas of nesting birds of the Basque Country - Euskadi Nature Information System

The project aims to provide detailed knowledge of the distribution of nesting birds in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. It is coordinated at the general level by the Aranzadi Society of Sciences and at the provincial level by Itsas Enara Ornitologia Elkartea (Gipuzkoa), Lanius Ornithological Society (Bizkaia) and the Alavés Institute of Nature (Álava). The atlas has received partial financial support from the Basque Government and the Diputación de Álava. The Diputación de Gipuzkoa, for its part, has been involved in the project through the forest guards, who have censused several grids of this province.
