Description

The operation Trade index in large stores and food chains (IGSC) provides an indicator of a conjunctural nature on the commercial evolution of sales and personnel employed in the trade sector in large stores and food chains in the Basque Country. Commercial establishments with a sales area equal to or greater than 2,500 m2 are considered large, while all companies with at least three premises, including large stores if they have them, and more than 100 employees, are called food chains. The information is disseminated at the level of historical territory from 2015.
