Description

The monitoring of water consumption in the Basque Country is promoted by the Basque Water Agency, through the management of the Water Canon, aimed at the protection, restoration and improvement of the aquatic environment, collaboration with the competent administrations for the achievement of efficient supply and sanitation services and obtaining interterritorial solidarity.The objective of the Water Consumption Statistics is to measure the consumption of natural water resources within the Basque Country, by quantifying and characterizing the volume of water consumed, differentiating the different uses, as well as the different types of water supply.
