Origin of electricity supplied by EDF SA
Description
#### Summary:
Since 1 July 2004, the Decree implementing European Directive 2003/54/EC of 26/06/03 requires electricity suppliers to indicate to all their customers the distribution between the different sources of energy used to supply the electricity and the CO2 and radioactive waste content of the kilowatt hour supplied.
The decree of 11 March 2021 imposed a change in the method of calculation of the supplier mix, now based exclusively [on the residual mix France published by Powernext](https://www.eex.com/fileadmin/EEX/Downloads/Registry_Services/Guarantees_of_Origin_Documentation/20210825_EEX_publishes_the_French_residual_mix_for_2020.pdf) and the original guarantees used by EDF.
