Active Sensitive Natural Spaces (Points)
Description
Within the framework of its own competences, the Department implements a policy in favour of Sensitive Natural Areas (ENS), which aims to protect and restore natural environments of particular heritage interest (fauna, flora, geology, landscape, etc.) and to allow the public to discover these environments and the species they host, provided that the opening to the public of these sites is compatible with their protection. Thus, about twenty sites have been labeled ENS and today make up the showcase of biodiversity present in the Doubs.
On these sites, a partnership is committed with the owners to implement the operations of management and public opening of the ENS. These operations are carried out either directly by the Department or by a local manager (community, mixed union, association...).
This layer of data presents in particular the location of the ENS sites that are the subject of concrete actions, the manager, as well as the progress of management and development procedures for openness to the public.
