Periodic bike counts

Description

Periodic bike counting data on 15 counting points located on different roads in Clermont Auvergne Métropole. Since 2018, 10 counting points (15 counting points since 2019) are established to measure cycling traffic. Two counting campaigns are organised per year (one in the spring and the other in the fall). These campaigns always last a week. The meters count bicycles on the move (and only bicycles) regardless of its position on the public space (traffic, bike layout, roadway, tram lane, etc.). In other words, Clermont Auvergne Métropole wants to have a permanent meter that will count cycling every day of the year. The data from these permanent meters will be integrated into a separate database.
