SHARK - National marine environmental monitoring of zooplankton in Sweden since 1979.
Description
Data is collected and analyzed according to the HELCOM Guidelines for Monitoring of Mesozooplankton. Deviations from the manual may occur. Information about the programme and methods is also available in Swedish on the Agency for Marine and Water Management's website.

Data is stored in Svenskt HavsARKiv (SHARK) by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI).
The monitoring is carried out by Stockholm University, Umeå University, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute and the University of Gothenburg.
