SE.OF Oceanographic observations - Average water level
Description
The year’s mean water level is used as a reference level when the water level is given relative to the mean water level. When the mean sea level is calculated, interannual variations and slow trends such as global sea level change and land uplift are filtered out. This year's average water level is not the same as the annual average.
