SE.OF Oceanographic observations...
Description
Purpose: Observe the height of the ocean waves and improve wave models. Assimilation and validation of models.
Unit: Meters to 2 decimal places.
Characteristics: Maximum wave height is the maximum value over 30 minutes. Measurements are carried out from buoys near the coast and at sea. One value per hour.
Quality codes: Green (G) = Verified and accepted values. Yellow (Y) = Roughly controlled values, suspicious or aggregated values. Orange (O) = Uncontrolled values
