Small Towns of Tomorrow Programme – list of beneficiary cities
Description
The “Small Cities of Tomorrow” (PVD) programme aims to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of small municipalities and surrounding territories, by accompanying communities in dynamic and environmentally friendly trajectories. The programme aims to give elected representatives of cities and their intercommunalities of less than 20000 inhabitants with central functions the means to realise their territorial projects.
In addition to its contribution to the definition and governance of the national programme, the Bank of the Territories mobilises EUR 200 million over the duration of the programme to enable developing countries to access the engineering necessary for their revitalisation projects. An investment target of EUR 100 million and new access modalities to the Urban Renewal Project complement the funding proposed to the programme’s target territories.
