Description

Integers Z = {....... —2, -1, 0, 1, 2,......} appear as magnification of natural numbers, to represent values prior to an initial position that is given with zero. With them we assign the negative sign to dates prior to the birth of Jesus Christ, temperatures below zero, sea depths and debts, among other examples. In this unit, the concept of negative number is deepened and the arithmetic of integers is worked. There are two didactic proposals, one more formal with classical theory and exercises and the other more playful, but no less necessary.
