Educational Resource — Secondary Education Language — UD7. THE SUBJECT AND THE NOMINAL SYNTAGMA

Description

The purpose of this unit is to perform a detailed study of the nominal syntagma (SN) that performs the function of subject: the component of the sentence that performs the action or says something of the verb. To do this, the structure of this syntagma will be described from its nucleus (N) and the modifiers that can accompany it — taking into account the different grammatical categories appropriate to perform both functions. In addition, the concept of modifier shall be determined and the types of modifiers — direct and indirect — attached to the core of the SN shall be distinguished.
