Description
This unit gives an overview of Renaissance literature. We can see the general characteristics of this period, as well as its most representative authors and works: the lyric of Garcilaso de la Vega, Fray Luis de León and the mystics San Juan de la Cruz and Santa Teresa de Jesús. But above all it focuses on the narrative and the picaresca novel with a more detailed study of El Lazarillo de Tormes.
