Synthetic Index of Territorial Development ISDT
Description
The Synthetic Territorial Development Index (ISDT) of municipalities and regions included in the Territorial Planning Strategy of Aragon provides the data aimed at knowing the level of territorial development of the Aragonese municipalities and regions based on indicators of the situation of the different territorial development factors and to evaluate the degree of territorial cohesion of the Autonomous Community.
ISDT seeks to expand the highly restricted concept of per capita income as an indicator of development by a much broader one that takes into account, through its appropriate assessment, all those elements or variables that in the territory contribute to shaping the quality of life of its inhabitants.
