Indicator Atlas: Population - Option children
Description
Percentage of the up to 17-year-old option children of the corresponding category in the up to 17-year-old German main resident population of the corresponding category.
Option children are children who have become German due to the birthright and also have the non-German nationality of their parents. By 21 at the latest. These persons must choose between the German nationality and the non-German nationality of their parents, if they are not exempted from the option obligation.
