Regional potential of renewable gas production by Hydrothermal Gasification from biomass deposits by 2050
Description
This dataset comes from an assessment of the 18 largest biomass waste deposits in France carried out in 2022 by GRTgaz whose results have been cross-checked, for each type of deposit, with publicly accessible data from bodies regularly publishing databases referring to the matter.
The analysis made it possible to estimate the quantities of biomass waste that can now be addressed to Hydrothermal Gasification by projecting them by 2050.
The estimation of the production potential of injectable gas in the gas network was carried out with conservative mobilisation rates taking into account existing current recovery solutions.
For each type of deposit several databases of public data and research have been referenced in the calculation of the gas productable in order to identify the most realistic quantities.
