Annual national changes in electricity transmission network circuit lengths (2011 to 2023)
Description
Annual national evolution of the lengths (km) of circuits in operation of the electricity transmission network by voltage level (63 kV, 90 kV, 225 kV, 400 kV, ...) and by nature of evolution (new infrastructure, renewal, undergrounding, scrap, other modifications).
The types of development of a section are:
* New: when the installation of the section is re-routed (e.g. a new link)
* Renewed: when an air section is replaced by an air section or when an underground section is replaced by an underground section
* Underground: when an air section is replaced by an underground section
* Scrap: when the section has been physically removed from the network
* Other changes: these are all variations in length not recorded in new and scrapped sections. This mainly concerns sections placed in reserve (disconnected from the network but still in place) but also error or length corrections
