Forward-looking residual constraints on TOR over 3-5 years (February 2024)

Description

This register presents a prospective vision of 3 to 5 years of the prospective residual constraints on the Electricity Transport Network of the different regions of metropolitan France, outside Corsica. These data reflect the prospective need for flexibility - modulation of production, consumption, storage or other - on the grid, depending on the seasons and projections of production of locally installed renewable energy. A residual transit constraint is a potential constraint on the Transport Network linked to the reception of renewable energies. It will be managed with flexibility, in accordance with the principle of optimal sizing: this principle consists in accepting one-off limitations through a means of flexibility in order to avoid building network infrastructure that would only prove useful for a few hours in the year. Attention: Information relating to network constraints is made available by the Transport Network Manager for information purposes only. They are not binding on the Transport Network Manager, who cannot be held responsible for the interpretation or use that may be made of them. The powers and energies linked to these constraints are published in another dataset on this site at the following link: Below are some definitions: * Work: * This is the code for RTE works subject to constraint. These may be lines or posts. * Power_max: * The maximum overtaking power of the structure. * It reflects the difference between the maximum flow estimated in a work and its normative dimensioning. This information reflects the level of stress in the structure and represents the excess power that the structure cannot pass through. * It is given in MW. * Item_1, item_2 and item_3: * Electrical substations influencing the constraint. * The substations influencing a constraint are the substations for which an action of modulation of the electrical power supplied to the network by this substation has a significant influence on the flows of a structure under constraint. These are the stations whose electrical location is appropriate to participate in the resolution of an identified constraint. * Influencing positions are classified according to percentage of influence. The item with the highest percentage will be in the column "item_1", the second highest in "item_2" and the third in "item_3". * Percentage 1, percentage 2 and percentage 3: * Influence of the substation on the stress It is given in %. * It reflects the electrical efficiency of a flow modification action carried out at the level of an electrical substation, on a given stress. * The influence will be negative when the management of the identified constraint requires a decrease in the power injection into the network view station. * The influence will be positive when the management of the identified constraint requires an increase in this power injection of the station seen from the network. * * *
